I think her getting to number four was mainly due to casual fans, so they've slipped away after one election and her having crappy singles after Dear J- so the drop to 8 wasn't that strange. She doesn't have the same power behind her as Yukirin who made a similiar leap.
As to why she dropped so far this year, I don't know- people annoyed that she's leaving? Lack of solo activity? I don't really think that it's because she's getting older- she got her highest rank after she dropped the loli image.
