Looking through the archives, it looks like it was moreso that the translation was worse than the Witch Hunt one with things like >>35003653, to the point of the devs putting it on their website under the project download link so it was easily accessible to replace their own translation. I'd assume that probably means nothing's been removed, but it's still a strange choice to use the Umineko Project translation over the one everyone else prefers.

Everyone who is competent enough to install Umineko Project is going to see this shit right here. If they're willing to ignore the translation right below the actual client needed to play the game that's pretty much on them. Besides that most of these normies just either use the steam version without changes or use 07th mod anyways.
