It’s a bit in the middle. Sora did join a friend group, and has invited shier people like Kotone, but she doesn’t have the courage to initiate big events. And since her friends tend to have their separate careers, on top of having few in Hololive, and on top of her own personal work and image, it does make her isolated for long stretches to the point she developed her own idea of friendships

Sora comes of as a gentle person that’s doing things in her own way, even if it’s to her own detriment

From excepts from Kotone, Pekora and Aqua she is really friendly backstage, but at the same time she comes off as a bit too reserved and respected so you never see her in any off-collabs with any other Holo

She can go full Vocaloid like no one else, but given how straining it obviously is,
she has to hold herself back, but she can do “cutesy” idol just fine.
