Why wouldn't Gura relocate closer to everyone else instead of inflicting 3 hours of mind-numbing tunnel mining to everyone ?
There seems to be an ocean right next to their settlement (see pic) where she could have built her Atlantis, and a few back-and-forth trips to her initial base to get her stuff woudln't have taken much more time than the tunnel, especially since she has Jurgen.
