Can someone please tell me who this character is and what she's from? All I know is that I saved it from a VN thread.

Strange timing. I'm taking a break at the moment, but I recently went through four of the routes (Nanase, Akane, Misaki, Mayu).

As a character, I think I like Nanase the best. Classic tsundere is such a fantastic character type. However, the end of her route feels empty and sudden; it just kind of ends. It doesn't go into the whole disappearing thing as deeply as the others. The stories for Akane and Misaki were certainly more fulfilling and satisfying (especially Akane's). The fact that Nanase still has a presence in the routes that aren't about her kind of makes up for this.

Mayu is just... there. I'm not sure what happened, but her route feels like it was just stapled to the game at the last minute. It's half a story at best. I will say that it has an excellent epilogue, but I don't think that entirely makes up for an empty main story.

Whenever I get back to it, I think I'll be doing Mio next, then Nagamori or the hidden route.

Because air was the first kyoani adaptation. I don't think they expected it to be as popular as it was. I remember some of the cast of kanon made appearances in air. After that kyoani announced that they were remaking kanon and with all the hype around it the budget was much nicer.

And in Kanon 06 there were nanase appearances but no One remake ;__;
