I love the fact that Yuyuko flew out all the way from the Netherworld on a whim simply because she heard the Hakurei Shrine courtyard was on fire in the middle of Winter.

More interestingly has anyone noticed Larva is unusually intelligent for an fairy? Frighteningly so?

She already showed hints of it when she was introduced in HSiFS, although it seemed like she was another mindless fairy. It also seemed like Larva was the one subtly pushing Cirno in the right direction to take out Okina in the endings. Then there was the revelation by Okina herself Larva might actually be the remnants of Tokoyami her mortal enemy.

And now with these last two chapters I can't help but feel like Larva has been humouring the other fairies and has a lot more common sense and insightfulness anyway.
