It seems most people who hated episode 8 hate it because it gave them an answer they didn't like. Rosatric, Evatrice Nanjotrice, whatever, people had ideas they really wanted to see played out and then felt betrayed when 07 didn't do what they wanted. I can understand not sympathizing with Yasu in some cases, but the whole point was that he/she was twisted and behind the mask of "The Golden Witch" there was just a fucked up and lonely kid.
