Fellow KFPbro, let me tell you as a published author (admittedly one of which was a doctoral dissertation so guaranteed publishing anyway), maybe these tips will be of use for you:
1. consider writing about something you genuinely give a shit about rather than fiction;
2. if you procrastinate because writing "a book" is too daunting, write smaller pieces instead; you can always tie them together later;
3. you write the first chapter as the second to last one (because it sets the frame for everything else) and the last chapter at the very end once you have all the pieces.
