Both. Master Spark has fucking FAST startup which is great for punishing, and Final Spark has an E-NOR-MOUS amount of invincibility frames now, and near-impossible to punish if blocked. It's just too bad that it can be grazed now, but at least grazing it works like grazing does in Story Mode: you lose spirit twice as fast, even if it's just a ground dash. Dragon Meteor is alright, but it's only good to punish a whiffed Spellcard, and nothing else.

Also, the tarrasque is apparently immune to danmaku, and even has a 30% chance of reflecting any danmaku spell cast at it. Yes, that includes Master Spark.

If you're honestly incapable of beating Normal without continuing, then use MarisaB(ugged) and her psuedo-Master Spark.

As long as MarisaB is between 3.00~3.95 power, the middle beam of her UNFOCUSED laser will do MASSIVE damage. You'll eat through most bosses before their danmaku even reaches you.

Of course, you're a pussy if you do it.
