I think most people on /jp/ hate Index/Railgun simply because it has an anime adaptation, and would turn on Touhou or whatever franchise is popular here ATM if it got an anime franchise. Notice the dearth of BRS threads as opposed to even a year ago.

I'm actually a big fan of Index and Railgun, although I agree with you that the timing of this thread seems suspect, when seen from a paranoid point of view. Remember that LN/VNs are no longer welcome on /a/ and posters are advised to post here instead, by none other than moot himself.

I had a nice discussion with the mod after he permabanned me from the channel after the shitstorm your IRC buddies started. Rest assured that there will no longer be any more 0kme.png threads from me anymore, provided that the /a/ threads remain unharmed. And I know that /jp/ lurks my threads. I will continue to make other /jp/-related threads instead
