To me, Rumia has the right amount of retardation to be cute. I don't like fae all that much, since they are massively overconfident for no reason.

I like to think that she's so slow mentally you can watch her as she attempts to grasp basic concepts, only to fail and default to "Is that so?" to try and look as if she understood a word of what you just said.

Think about it; Rumia lives in the forest (somewhere?), and has been there for god knows how long. Seeing as she appears to be a complete carnivore, it stands to reason she sustains herself mostly on just random animals. I bet Rumimi would make and excellent tracking youkai, as well as the best most loving and cute daughterhu possible.
