and this is actually true in sense of classical logic ("ex contradictione sequitur quodlibet", see also "principle of explosion"), but there are also philosophical approaches to weaken our classical logic into a so called paraconsistent logic, where this theory doesn't hold anymore, e.g. a system which allows paradoxa such as the "liar paradox" for example
