perhaps some other day I'll explain to you why i think a trip changes the posts, but right now I'm quite tired so i'll sum it up in:
1)gaining reputation gives weight to posts. there are other ways to give your posts a weight, but there is a differance between seeing a post by random anon and seeing a post by a person you have some respect for.
once i have reputation I will have some influance as well. It's not always the wisest to leave things to fix themselves.
2)I still need other people expectations to better myself, else I'll just do nothing but the bare minimum to survive. Those expectations are my motivation.
