Stop thinking Junko's purification of Clownpiece increased her power. Junko refined her into a being of sheer lifeforce. She herself is simply powerful (of course she is, she's the primary henchman of the strongest character in the series), but the lifeforce aspect made her literally unapproachable for Lunarians. I dunno why this has been so often confused. All the fairies were refined to stop the Lunarians, that was the plan (and also why Clownpiece is baffled that she loses in LoLK, because according to the plan the purification essentially had made her untouchable).
