It's just my personal opinion, but I think the KanColle general thread isn't that great for doujinshi discussion because it's mostly game discussion and character shitposting as opposed to artist-following. If there's stuff you're interested in you're free to talk about it in Comiket threads as well or even make your separate thread to discuss doujinshi in detail.
