I don't sculpt (yet), but I have some experience in aircraft modelism and painting.

Work in an position so your hand is always supported by something. For starters you might want to start with normal brushes before moving into airbrushing. Get the finest brush you can get, a 0 size would be perfect for details like the face. TAKE IT EASY.
I use acrylics, so I don't know about enamels, but don't use the paint straight out of the bottle, dillute it till it has the consistency of milk, you'll need to give it several coats, but the result is pretty smooth (almost like an airbrush).

When painting around areas you have already painted, mask them using 3M magic tape or something weaker. You need so that it doesn't adheres too strongly to the surface, but can remain in place while painting. It won't be possible always, but it helps a lot. Otherwise you need pretty good control of your hand. Take it easy.

Greetings, good people of /jp/.

So there was this lovely Yukkuri doujin that was done by a certain Anonymous, and we would like to upload this doujin to Gensokyo.org in our next update. There's those Yukkuri one-shots that was done by the tripfriend !Kyon, too. And they were also from /jp/, only it was posted in Voile some time afterward.

tl;dr: We're asking if we could host it, thanks for your cooperation.
