You should be happy that you are capable of getting that far and that you have a lot of room for improvement due to silly mistakes. It would be a lot worse if you did your absolute best and you still didn't get close. Calm down, learn from your experience, and try again. Things like this are very normal in Touhou and they are nothing to rage about.

Yes I do. I lost a NBNUFO Lunatic run with ReimuB a few months ago on the slowdown, and I haven't gotten that run since. I've been working on it for 7 months. It still haunts me.

I've had that happen to me countless times. It's a part of Touhou, not just UFO. I lost many of my would-be first 1cc's on every difficulty in the last second. I lost a NBNUFO Lunatic run on the final spellcard slowdown when I was sure that I was going to capture it, because a stray bullet came out of nowhere. That was months ago, and I still haven't recovered.

What you experienced is perfectly normal. All you have to do is keep trying.

I love IN Reimu's nonspells with solo humans. They're very chaotic and fun to dodge. Also, I'm sure that the immunity varies between shots it might even be twice as long with another shot. I'm not sure about IN so much.

All the shots have their ups and downs. Continues are fine as long as you think they are right.

That's just one of the things about this game. When you get better at it, you will learn to deal with it. It will never completely go away, because you will always be doing something you aren't quite good enough to get just yet. I still have heart attacks when I get to Byakuren in some of my handicapped runs. That run in my picture took me months to get, now it is trivial. One day, getting that 1cc will be trivial to you. Just keep practicing. If you had a lot of resources, you will always at least know that you had a great chance at it. You know that you are close, which is much better than not being anywhere near the goal. If you keep trying, you are sure to get it right. Then it will all be worth it. If it's too hard at the moment, go and practice in another game. When you come back, you will be amazed at how you breeze through the patterns. You will eventually get good enough that you don't need to practice, and you already know everything.

I used to be just like you, but then I practiced:

I had some bad moments:

http://archive.foolz.us/jp/thread/7860159/#7899709
When I got my first Hard 1cc, I had long since given up hope that I would ever beat it, but I did:
>I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw Byakuren exploding. I've been at it for months. My first hard 1cc of any Touhou game, ever.
When I got my first Hard 1cc, I had long since given up hope that I would ever beat it, but I did. I don't really understand why I kept playing. Maybe it was something like >>8436352.
And then I ended up doing this:

http://archive.foolz.us/jp/thread/7994199/#8029309

These games are never easy for anyone when they are starting out. Sometimes it's difficult to comprehend the sheer difficulty of these games. Just remember that you can beat them if you really want to. Also, drink lots of tea.
