Some caveats to this strategy: explosives destroy anything on the ground, including alien corpses AND guns, both of which are hella profitable. Also, Floaters are common early-on, and those flying fuckers are often airborne, and without a nearby roof a blast won't reach them. These are reasons to make sure your soldiers with slightly better then half-assed accuracy have Rifles. And you have to pick and choose when to hurl 'nades. But overall, using 'nades as a "primary weapon" out in the open can get your rookies some firing experience quickly, so they can stop SUCKING COCK.
