Ideally, I would prefer a yandere system to be an involved mechanic, not a fall state per se. It should be able to coexist with the lover and lust traits, and if the more lovers toggle is applied, there is no reason why your yandere couldn't tolerate other characters, but still be assertive/ express other flavors of yandere.
As an example, yanderes could be, from my limited understanding of the code:
1. Dependent; they are more willing to do what you ask
2/9. Monopolizing/Isolating; they spread rumors about you to tank your reputation?
3. (Non-murdery) Eliminating; they start Damnaku fights with other 2hus based on certain actions, like seeing you on a date with them
5. Stalker; self-explanatory, they might follow you around, they visit you more often, et cetera
6. (Non-suicidal) Harmless; not sure how to implement this other than via dialogue...
7. Worshipping; not sure how to implement this other than via dialogue...
8. Delusionary; not sure how to implement this other than via dialogue...

The only acceptable Shiratsuyu class to have a relationship with is Samidare and maybe Umikaze.
Yamakaze is a deceiving woman who only feigns weakness. I am disgusted at how many TTKs have fallen prey to her antics.
