Do you remember when Peko was explaining what a supacha is to Pekomom? She was going to say "They send them because they love me", just to being interrupted by mama who said "They send them to show their support?", what Pekora immediately agreed with. Just look at this girl, who feels helpless when her chat frozes, who always asks the opinion of her fans, who makes surveys to give them a voice, who keeps doing the banter routine in some of her streams. This little, vulnerable girl who can't keep her mind for herself and feels the obligation to make a members only stream, just to feel loved and comforted. And she can't stop crying because of that, the girl who's always making fun of herself, who comically claims she's an idol and not a comedian. That girl, who many of us love and respect, is all by herself suffering, nt being able to share her pain with anybody at home since she never did it before. This lonely girl, who clearly doesn't have any emotional support besides a group of faceless fans has to endure being isolated on a employment dispute, because nobody is going to risk their jobs just to show support for her. This is the same girl we love so much and we can't help right now

She's a cutie. Sad thing she's also a foul mouthed brat who grew in a hostile environment such as NND, so you will always see her on the defensive. She's scared of strangers, and my theory is she had a bad experience at some point of her life (harrassed by an acquaintance, bullied or even molested in public place such as a train station), therefore she struggles to trust even her close relatives/friends

Trust me I'm the first person to doubt her potential in learning English. Not because she doesn't want to, or because she wouldn't take it seriously, but because of her spare time, as you say.
I'm using myself as a point of reference and since I started learning Japanese I've cut down on so much other stuff I used to do, all to make room for learning and immersing myself in Japanese, it is almost insane how much time I shed from what I used to do every day.
Now of course Pekora's job isn't always 8 hours, it fluctuates a lot so she might have more or less time than me depending on the days but the rigorous studying you need to do so as to not forget everything you are learning is something very few people can dedicate themselves to.

She said some positive things at the end of the Minecraft stream that gives me hope, like watching old cartoons she loved but in English this time. Although that can be a trap if she watches them with Japanese subs.
We'll see how things develop, she has a very clear goal in mind that she wants to do an English collab with EN so that might just be enough to spur her on although I have my doubts considering her other projects that all slowly died out.

I know this is stupidly late but I wanted to say that I found it cute that she has been reading Yakitate Japan because of her sudden interest in baking because of Youtube videos she's seen. I wonder if we'll ever see some bread being posted on her Twitter, although I haven't forgotten about her attempt at growing Avocado from seeds that she hasn't reported back on.
Also laughed at the part when the chat told her to just go farm a new Trident and that made her trauma from the Trident farming endurance resurface, she even mentioned that she saw the clip of Rushia finding it near instantly and getting upset at that fact.

There was also a bit I wasn't entirely sure on, but she said that before going to bed she does some form of English practice, if it was pronunciation or just re-treading words she got wrong earlier in the day or something like that?
Sounds like she is taking it fairly serious if she has a routine going.
Was there anything else any of you Nousagi caught or felt stood out?

I really need to sometime find the time to go through the Dragon quest streams since it was around the time I just got into Hololive and wasn't completely hooked on this bunny, so I didn't have the extra draw to sit for hours watching her.
It also didn't help that she did 6+ hour streams every day even during weekends if I remember correctly. Whenever I get time over I'm definitely going to see it through because I loved Xenoblade and Mother 2 so far has been great and it has barely begun.

She has been speaking more English ever since EN debuted, just like most Holos.
I find it amusing that a Jap felt so anxious about it that he spilled his thoughts on a marshmallow that he didn't expect her to read(He later tweeted this) yet she still did and she got around 800 marshmallows that stream, so it is clear she wants to affirm her Japs that they don't have to worry.

This shilling is working. Anything that Pekora has fun with I want to experience too.
Had I not forgotten about this I'd have bought it in preparation but I might just have to do it later.

I love how she at the start of the stream said that she realized after the last stream how everything she did during that stream looked horrific and then this stream she quite literally made a railroad to a far away place, forcibly separating families.
Honestly fucking hilarious and I'm glad she plays into it as well.
Absolutely perfect when that first villager she sent away fucking died too.
And she had to be reminded twice that there was no water at the end before sending Joseph and she still managed to send him flying out to his death but luckily he survived.

Some more kouhai extortion as well and when Mio logged in Pekora said that she was very glad she didn't log in earlier and see Pekora bully the kouhais because during the tournament she was a good girl and she doesn't want Mio to get the "wrong idea".
There was also a bit about her talking about how nice a life in the shticks would be with farming as a job, but then when someone told her that a convenience store would be like an hour away she got cold feet.

Also some bit where she talked about how she has been stumbling her words lately and wondering what that could be about which prompted everyone to get worried for her health, especially considering the recent increase in hours.

If I remember correctly she said during the Mario stream that this month she has had streaming on her mind a lot and really felt like doing 2 streams a day but that for next month she is unsure if she can keep up the same pace.
