I'm talking about how they act in the respective country's myths.

In Chinese myths, foxes are very friendly with humans. Drinking buddies, lovers, battle brothers, wizened sages, you name it.
In Japanese myths, they can really go either way. Some foxes are kind to humans, but just as many are right bastards.
Korean myth foxes are just a nasty lot. Not even once.

Everyone's gotta be controversial these days.
