That can work if done right, but it's so overdone on every model's portfolio that I tend to think that every pic was taken at the moment the Hiroshima blast went off. They go out of their way to put their models in visually appealing places, but waste it by losing all the details in the blown highlights.
Look at poor Reon. She got in the car, drove out to the beach... I think that's a beach... and the water's radioactive! She's running away from the horror of the too-reflective water.
