Half the thread was actual waifufagging, I don't know if actually deleting this one wouldn't be a better choice.
I feel like sometimes mods act like bots, 2hu must be either deleted or moved to /jp/ despite the fact that /v/ and /jp/ inhabitants are like black and white. At least some /v/ threads convince people to check out the games.

That's absolutely the worst you can do.
Don't do that. Instead think of those as practice runs, try prod the stage 5 boss, see if you can dodge a few of the stage 6 spell cards using continues. Plan your bombs a little. As it is you're going to be doing stages 1-4 perfectly but die horribly 5 times at stage 5. Always try to at least finish your runs.

Don't feel bad. You're going to naturally learn to let a ton of those point items slide instead of chasing every single one. Most games you're going to get a set amount of lives anyway, you don't have to take every risk.

Touhous must scare them without killing too many. The entire thing is designed around making new touhous, bullet patterns and music every game.
The fan content may be similar to MG because, like mostly anything, majority of it is designed to make your dick hard. But fan content is the mythical "secondary" content that you hear so much about, meaning it's just fanfiction/whatever and if you call yourself a fan you should not give two shits about that.
