If you want to try something different on E6, I just ran a Kita/3CV/2CVL build and S-Ranked the boss (not final) even without a Kita cut-in. Plane setup was something like:

Taihou: Reppuu Kai/Tomonaga/RSK/Saiun (now swapping for a type 2 scoutplane)
Shoukaku: Reppuu/RSK/Egusa/Saiun
Zuikaku: Reppuu/Reppuu/RSK/Saiun
Junyou: Reppuu/RSK/RSK/Saiun
Hiyou: Reppuu/Type62/Saiun/Saiun

Ran double support and line ahead (except for subs). Worked surprisingly well, fleet was only halfkirad, Kaga only chuuhad Junyou and most of the enemy ships in the other nodes were dead before combat started.
