Phew... the next three months are not going to be easy. Just to give you an idea of what it is that I have to do: The company I'm working for has developed an ERP program that is based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and specializes on press wholesale. In order to be able to sell the software, it has to be certified by Microsoft, and in order to qualify for that, the code base, user interface and documentation have to be available in English. The code base and interface have already been translated by someone with a limited grasp of English, and it shows. I'm supposed translate the documentation - 6500 .html documents, aka. ~48,000 lines of text. Since I know nothing about the subject, progress has been slow. It also irritates me that I have to keep using the terminology of the user interface, since some of the terms are blatantly wrong and don't make any sense in English. When I brought up the sub-par translation of the UI, they told me "they'd rather not make any changes to it at this point, and it doesn't really matter since the guys at Microsoft aren't going to pay close attention anyway". I swear, they're gonna blame me if the software doesn't meet the quality standards required for the certification.

On the plus side, the payment is insanely high for an internship. So high, in fact, that it really adds to the pressure I'm feeling to begin with.
