While the subs are the biggest bitches, F can have a flagship Wo, Nu kai and TA (flagships) in line ahead, and N have 1 or, more probably 2, Ta flagships also in line ahead. Both nodes can ruin your day if one or two of these survive to fight your escort or if they tank enough hits to let one Tsu survive, that could be fatal. Even if they only hit to chuuha a couple of your escorts, that would hinder your boss fight. Route support minimizes that chance.

A good TTK minimizes the RNG menaces.
