1 thing people have to understand , Japan is still a closed country even today.They don't need english or outside news for their daily life, so they never bother to check something , also the Japanese news are mostly what is happening inside Japan.More then half of the people who even want to learn english , they just do it as a hobby.Also they learn nothing about WW2 ,a Japanese highschool history textbook has only like 4-6 pages about WW2 and that was mostly about Japan in WW2.
