Some people's ears are ruined by playing loud music, so even if they got audiophile headphones, they would still not notice. The only exception for them to notice is to continue playing the music loud in the audiophile headphones, and that just hastens deterioration of their quality of hearing. As if age-related loss wasn't bad enough, they have to speed up their hearing loss.
