I'd assume so, but from my experience, many people who have Patchy as their favorite 2hu are only that way because they're into the chubby version of her. I haven't come across many people who legitimately seem to love her and claim her as a waifu beyond "I love deh fat butt". Shame to treat an intellectual, beautiful magician girl like that. Suffice to say there's more to her than le chubby meme.

The main thing is that her default depiction should logically be an average build at most, since that's her canon depiction. Hell, orginally she is pretty much a loli even, because of ZUN art. Her SWR appearance is a nice alternative though. The issue is that many people actually perceive Patchouli as chubby, by default, even though that's purely a fanon thing. Imagine how the poor girl would feel, when everyone perceives her as a fatty only because it's what turns them on.
