Well first we have to talk about Bernkastel and Lambdadelta if we're going to talk about Renatrice.
It's kind-of well accepted that Bernkastel was born from the suffering that Rika faced during the OG Higurashi (mentioned in Saikoroshi-hen.) We have this intimate connection with Bernkastel and Rika (Bernkastel has the memories of Rika too so this probably gets into the Ship of Theseus) and a sort of connection established in Sotsugou with Satoko and Lambadelta (you could argue that Witchtoko isn't Lambda because it isn't explicit but the connection with Vier/LD3105 is definitely.) So this is where Renatrice actually begins, there are some pretty consistent connections in every WTC (yes this includes Sotsugou) where the 34 character gives the Rena figure magical powers. It's a bit less so in Higurashi, but if we remember from Oniakashi-hen, Witchtoko promised Rena her happiness (this is briefly mentioned in Memoirs of Lambdadelta) if Rika stayed in Hinamizawa so there's that. In Ciconia, Lingji at the end of Phase 1 had the golden gauntlet that Vier's guards have. In Umineko, Lambda is the one who gave Beatrice her powers. I am a bit tired so I don't want to write anymore, but hopefully it clears some things up. For a bonus, in Tatarigoroshi-hen, Rena mentions wanting to have a new body and being carried away by a prince on a white horse.
