I think just letting you choose what gets you horny would be enough, like a switch that enables erections. Would have to always turn on when you push or get pushed down. Or just present it as a "hide erections" button.
I don't think an overhaul is needed, afterall the only problem is that a handful of 2hus point out your boner too often. This might get worse as time goes on and more writers use that check, so in my opinion, the best way to future-proof this is to just give you control over your own dick.
