Has anyone else noticed that return the last song on caps lock has a very similar melody to negai the last song on triangle. Do you think nakata was trying to say something with this. The melodies I'm talking about happen in both choruses. To me CAPS LOCK is an album by which nakata is trying to stray away from his typical pop sound. Trying something new, experimental. Maybe he was frustrated that he's been making similat music for years now and this was his way out. He even rebranded capsule as CAPSULE and said he had been wanting to do that for a while. I find it interesting that the last song on CAPS LOCK is called RETURN and even more that it has a very similar melody to negai, a perfume song. Like, at the end of the day he has to return to the pop world or something. The song feels quite sad and a little haunting. Melancholic.

Can we please get a discussion going about this. I want to know what y'all think.
If you haven't, I feel you should listen to CAPS LOCK it's really good. Very refreshing at least if you don't like it.
The gif is just their cause it's cute.
