touhou is harder

Isn't it true that the only reason you call real girls 'pig disgusting' is the fact that you can't come to terms with your own loneliness? Rather than admitting that you are alone or actually going out and trying to have a healthy relationship, you simply deny that which you truly desire. The same behavior is exhibited in children when they lose at a game. They'll say things like, "Oh, I don't like that game anyway. It sucks".
I also propose that you say that you like 2-Dimensional women because your mind accepts that they will never be real. Since having a collection of pictures and animated scenes is the closest you can come to these 2-Dimensional characters, your mind accepts that you're fulfilling all the needs to be close to them. Wheras if you collected pictures and movies of real women, your mind would tell you that you can actually have a real woman and, thus, you won't get the same sense of fulfillment.

So, /jp/, instead of being obsessive over 2-Dimensional women, why not clean yourselves up and make a sincere effort to find a real woman?

tl;dr- 2-D is fake. Find someone who really loves you, /jp/.

How did touhou get so popular? And why is its fanbase so dedicated, fun, and creative?
I mean, it's a mediocre-at-best terribly-written copy of Aero Fighters with little girls.

I love the mythos and the fanbase, but the games just don't seem like anything special. Why the attention?
