Well yeah.
The only ones who care about Hololive in EN are Gura, Ina, and Ame, and Kiara.
>Gura was already successful as Szawa with over a million subs and could easily have made just as much if not more money if she started vtubing on her youtube channel so the only reason she would have joined is liking hololive.
>Ina is already a successful artist who often gets commissioned to draw artwork for games and other things. She even draws the artwork for a LN. She didn't need the money nor the popularity platform.
>Ame was a small-time streamer already who started as a 3d one then became a vtuber herself before joining hololive. Was making enough to get by but nowhere near the money that she is now. Probably joined mainly for the money and popularity boost but is clearly grateful for it.
>Kiara is a failed IRL idol due to her cosplay dating shenanigans who joined Hololive because she is a cosplayer(e.g: attention whore) who wants to be an idol and it's the best she's ever going to get. She's clearly grateful for the opportunity but due to being a former (and still current) Instagram cosplayer she's more focused on numberfagging than the others so she does tend to forget her gratitude and focus on viewer figures.
>Mori joined because she's a struggling rapper in Japan (great place to hit it big as a gaijin surely) who just joined it as a distribution platform for her songs. Mori is literally the Suisei of HoloEN, except that unlike Suisei she thinks the popularity of her works should be solely attributed to her and not the distributor and advertisers, and that she is the one helping out Hololive instead of it being the other way around.
