which is pretty much the exact opposite of what happened. The plot twist added practically nothing, was done terribly (how about you save your dying girlfriend instead of slowly watching as your brother goes on a monologue), and left the story full of plot holes (why does Kyousuke have a headache and is he absent EVERY SINGLE TIME another character meets or speaks to Maou, even during very important situations? Why is Kyousuke Maou in, for example, Tsubaki route?).

My opinion is that most individual segments of G-Senjou no Maou are awesome (notable exceptions include most character routes and the first half of the final chapter), but as a whole it just doesn't fit together and the whole thing is just a mess. Definitely worth reading for the awesome parts, but the game as a whole is less than the sum of its parts.

That wasn't the only thing wrong with that scene. See picture for just how retarded that scene was. I'm not even a gun nerd and I noticed how little the writer knew of actual sniping. (Note that he's going for a hit anywhere on the body, not even aiming at a specific location.)

G-Senjou is a lot more enjoyable if you imagine the first half of the fifth chapter doesn't exist.

I personally thought chapter 4 was the best part of the game, closely followed by the end of chapter 5 (before the epilogue). The epilogue is overrated.

But yes, Looseboy's writing takes a huge dive at the start of chapter 5 until the middle of chapter 5.
