Actually Griffon will probably make a statue of her eventually. Their Touhou works are kinda hit-and-miss and so I guess you'll have to hope for the best there.

As for figures, as long as GSC/MF holds onto the line you'll eventually see a Kogasa figma and/or Nendoroid (preferably both). But they basically are going off of popularity here, and while she's liked, I don't think she's raging popular enough to warrant a release within the next year. Maybe the next two years. So, you could splurge like $40 for a 4 inch tall gashapon now, or wait it out like.. a while and pay about the same (or more) for a way better item.

If she's your favorite Touhou period, then I'd lean towards getting it myself. However I would try to avoid a double-proxy. Imo it shouldn't cost more than $20-30 by the time all is said and done. But depending on how easy they are to find/how quickly they are snapped up it may be more.
