Something else they did is that cards have variations. You have the normal cards and then you have silver/gold/rainbow holographic versions along with damaged holo versions as rare drops. Obviously holo versions fetch a lot more money in the black market, but you have to print it out (and hence pay 100 yen) to find out if you've got a holo version. There's no way of knowing just in-game

I read that holos had better luck than the standard version whilst damaged versions has lower luck, but it seemed to be more a guess than confirmed
