Yui is alive in the Japanese trial which is why she has CV and samples and shit, not because of trolling anyone, she already appears properly there.
The japanese trial of KnS and Caucasus both play some time before the main game thus when you are seeing the trial from Yukari's pov you meet Yui in the Art club room and speak with her for a bit too.
The trials also got several unique CGs not found in the main game too like this one.
