The strength of an oni means nothing against the technique of one, and though powerful Yukari may be, she can’t manipulate the boundaries of skill: she dodges well the first volley of punches and kicks—wide and broad—, fully immersed in pride and ego; going as far as getting physical with an Oni. The second volley too is sharper and tighter—and then, after analyzing her patterns and skill, the third volley comes and is so magnanimously oppressive, those purple eyes of her, always so analytical and incisive, struggle to keep up with everything, going farther than everyone but Suika—then, another perfect punch to her face, ripping the small pond we stand in two and sending her flying backwards as a lighting flash gap pops into thin air, the woman starting to sink there—

My hand catches her ankle, and like a devil, I pull her out—

—a burning Spellcard points at my stomach. My forehead hits hers, sending her crashing into the pond and lifting tsunami waves; the full power of her unnamed spellcard blinds the world like a storm and sends me flying up like a mortar shell surrounded by boiling vapor, body fuming all over—but before gravity can make sense, I'm hung in the air by a mighty hand, looking up to see one single purple eye staring back, rainbow death of light charging in her free hand. Releasing myself from her hold is impossible, so I rip my blue yukata and fall backwards, dodging like crazy the world of danmaku, my upper body protected by a bandaged bra and a ripped yukata…

One million battles, just another one to imprint in this body.

She's already on me again, elegant in every move, though sharp as a razor, without an ounce of blood or a scratch permeating her figure.

I pant, now on the ropes, barely capable of escaping the sheer onslaught of the following Danmaku, Yukari not committing the same mistake of trying close quarters with me again, heh…

… In my head I count the seconds, and though some would get hopeless by the fact Yukari needed mere ten seconds of battle to make me bleed, I can't help grin a tad more: Every second that I keep her in this little cage is another second that Kasen and Satori have to discuss all the secrets the latter got from inside her head.

I can see it as clear as day in those wide eyes of her, almost shining purple: rage cold as the top of Youkai Mountain.

… 11 seconds gone, 49 to go…

One minute of hell for the both of us, indeed.
