The thing is thaat Touhou may now become... popular.
That means less devoted fans.
Touhou would lose it's cult status very soon. It would be hyped for half year and then totally killed.
That is the worst scenario.

Best scenario would be that this would lead into massive amounts of devoted and active fans. Then it would might not be cult anymore. But something like star wars, star trek... type of thing. BUT TOUHOU IS INFINITELY better than any other form of entertainment and definately better than those two things i brought up.
But i'd like the best that nothing would not change.
