Because it's an indication of how much TM cares about it. Nasu is so elated with Heaven's Feel that he outright disses KnK's movies for it.
Mahoyo as a VN is so good that Nasu even says it doesn't need an anime adaptation.

So when Fate is neither getting a rewrite, nor a better anime adaptation for Nasu to rewrite, and all we're left is shit like pic related where the Fate Route couldn't get more shit.
Nasu didn't even want to write Last Episode ffs.
