Are there any VN's that, like Umineko, in that they:

- are lengthy narratives
- have a varied cast of characters (no harem)
- little to no "routes" in the story?

Even though I did like Tsukihime, I'm somehow bored of the structure and can't even finish VN's like G-Senjou or Symphonic Rain.

The closest I can think of (save other R07 stuff) might even be FSN, which I already read.

Terrible idea. Start reading properly from episode 1.

It's something about traveling on a train though, isn't it? I've read one or two pretty decent theories before, and both of them incorporated the use of a train. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if some of the more fanatic seacats fans over in Moonland have actually made some sort of pilgrimages, following the route to where they think it could be.

If Ryu actually brings in something like, there's other humans on the island, or that there's a subway, I'll be highly disappointed.
