Reading an article about Mahou Tsukai no Yoru, stumbled across this
>If you’ve ever had a chance to play Fate/Hollow Ataraxia (a fan disc of Fate/Stay Night), you would have noticed the rather remarkable programming work pushing the limits of the visual novel technology the game runs on.

>One line in the Type-Moon Ace magazine interview even says that the amount of text data for the code was far larger than that of the narrative itself in one of the scenes. Just to remind you, we’re not talking about an action game, but a visual novel.

I was wondering what other visual novels really do lots of programming effects with the sprites and cgs, instead of the standard static effects and simple transitions. I know Ef and Chaos;Head had blinking and mouth movements, but the only other vn I have seen that really pushes the engine the was F/HA does is Princess Waltz.

Are there any other vns that do similar "action-y" effects with its sprites and cgs?

I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record when it comes to Princess Waltz, but I fucking hated the different "routes", they hardly influenced the ending at all.

That and it wasn't worth going through all of them for the little bonus ending.

Angela is fucking awesome though, which makes the game worth playing.
