-The Autumn 2016 Event has ended.
-All Late Autumn and Wine of Autumn voice lines have been removed (except for Pola, who also keeps her sprite), and replaced with Christmas sprites, voice lines and furniture, including over 20 new Christmas lines.
-The following ships receive new Christmas sprites: Kuma, Maruyu, Akashi, Commandant Teste, Tone and Chikuma. Akashi receives a new sprite at the cash item shop but not at her upgrading factory.
-Akebono receives a new sprite at Kai.
-Jet aircraft, as well as a new system for them, have finally been implemented. Nakajima Kikka and Funshiki Keiun Kai are the first two jets in the game. Jets consume steel while in use, and can be equipped on both land bases and armoured CVs.
-In the new aerial system, jets take part in an additional "jet assault" phase before the standard aerial phase. Jets are less susceptible to normal aircraft but can be shot down by ship anti-air. Jets that survive this phase can partcipate in the aerial phase later.
-F4F-3, F4F-4 and the Prototype Keiun can now be improved. F4F-3 can be upgraded to F4F-4, and the Prototype Keiun to Funshiki Keiun Kai.
-A new blueprint for new model aircraft has been implemented. It and the Ne-type engine can both be obtained from completing two expedition 30 quests, but not from the cash shop.
-10 new quests have been added. Three of them award a prototype Keiun, either a Type 2 Seaplane Fighter or a PBY-5A Catalina, and a Nakajima Kikka, respectively.
-Shortland and Rabaul have been expanded. You will soon be able to register for the game directly through Android, without needing a PC.
-The next Kai 2 will be for a CA.
