Of course Miko is selfish, that's part of why I like her so much. Despite the outcome which some might say ended up being a good thing for the nation, she did it all for herself so that she could become immortal. But even so, she's treated her closest followers differently, advising Futo on Taoism, letting Seiga come and go through the Mausoleum even if she's being annoying, and really she had no incentive to allow Tojiko to come with them to Gensokyo either. To me, she's quite fond of these people. And she hasn't acted very selfishly since being revived, I think. In my mind she's only interested in becoming a Celestial for the achievement or as a personal goal, it doesn't seem like something you train for anyway. If she managed it, I don't think much would change, least of all her suddenly leaving everyone. It could make for an interesting doujin though.
