Not a card game, it's more like an automated beat 'em up. Your girls run across the stage and attack anything they come across, and you can buff them or move them around, mostly to prevent suicidal melee from biting more than they can chew. Rather than combat, the game's main draw (beyond the excellent character art) is its ridiculously extensive customization system, with rank upgrades, equipment sets, ability to turn equipment into tsukumogami (and vice-versa), unsealing the core item of your girls for stat bonuses, skill trees for every girl, buildings that unlock battlefield skills, farmable stat-changing gifts and so on.

And nice, finally got an account with everything I want. I failed the upgrade on Kusanagi, but it'll be a while before I hit the level cap on silvers anyway.
