It was a good point. "Also, er..." She trailed off. "This might be a bad question. Is there any, uh, family figure, you would invite?" That gave me pause. "I know, I don't mean - I just..." I shook my head and said that I got it. There was...One or two, I supposed. I'd been more or less raised by the Temple School and the elder women in the village after my parents had died. I didn't really remember the specifics, but I knew that Keine Kamishirasawa had played a fairly significant role in my upbringing even if she hadn't really realised it, and - on occasion - so had Hieda no Akyuu. The Temple School had belonged to the Hieda family, after all, and the Child of Miare had proclaimed that she wanted to know if she was 'as good with kids now as I was when I was Are.' As with most things people declared to me, I didn't know what she meant, but she'd been fairly decent as a babysitter. Of course, the fact that she was younger than I was at the time had made the whole thing feel very strange indeed.

Either way, the answer was yes, I supposed. There were a couple people I could consider family figures that I could invite. But still, I felt like we were getting ahead of ourselves, since I hadn't even proposed yet. "No harm in planning ahead." Tenshi told me. "But I think you'll need some more time to think on it." I nodded. It was a bit too far off in the future at the moment. "Now, I suppose I'll leave Marisa with you, Reimu. I'll stick around, though." She looked back at me, chewing her lip. "Don't, um, take this the wrong way, but it might be better if you didn't stick around for now..." I tried not to look disappointed. I enjoyed spending time with all three of them. Reimu, Marisa, and Tenshi. "It's just...Marisa might, er, have another go at you. She needs to sleep it off, I think. Plus, whatever she's been taking while she was with the yamawaro."

Reimu groaned. "Oh, she hasn't, has she? She's been taking a bunch of weird stuff again, hasn't she?" She sighed, then lifted Kuro the cat from her lap and placed her on the table. "Alright, I've dealt with this before. C'mon, let's move her." Reimu stopped first by me. "Are you going to leave?" She asked me quietly. I nodded, since I didn't want to cause Marisa any more unnecessary stress. Getting to my feet, Reimu accompanied me out onto the veranda. "She's manages to kick it for a while, but she gets some weird idea in her head about potions and starts taking all sorts of weird stuff eventually." She sighed. "She'll be fine. Eventually." I nodded, feeling a little relieved as I stepped off of the veranda. "Go back to Yamame and think about who you're going to invite when you do marry her, okay? Or maybe you should go and speak to Keine now? When's the last time you spoke to her, huh?" Probably...Far longer than it should have been. hopping back up to the veranda quickly, I hugged Reimu and told her to take care of Marisa. "Obviously. Take care of yourself, alright?" She replied gently. I smiled, nodded, and jumped back down.

"Oh, bye-bye, Miss Reimu's brother!" I heard Aunn shout, and I turned to see her waving at me from where she stood next to a very large snow-komainu. I waved back and thanked her for her hard work but told her not to chase around Reimu's cat. "I won't! Promise!" She shouted back.

"Can you two stop shouting!?" Reimu added, sticking her head out of her room. "Got a sick idiot in here!" I thought that both Aunn and I had flinched at that, so I waved once more and headed across the courtyard.

I wondered what Yamame had been up to while I very gingerly negotiated the steps down from the Shrine.
