nothing has changed with touhou as an IP, you can still use touhou characters however you want as long you are not pushing a worldview using his assets or spoiling his endings. redistributing his games is another story, since those games are all his he has the right to do whatever he wants, and you can still torrent the stuff elsewhere if you want. I think that ruw just pressured him into doing it.

I read it about 10 years ago when I was still pretty new to 2hu. I don't remember much at this point except that Rinnosuke liked to talk out of his ass, and that the translation I had was kinda stilted. I've been meaning to reread it along with the more recent chapters now that I've gotten deeper into lorefaggotry, but I have the attention span of a fairy and 50 other things that I also want to do.

I know it can get done quickly if enough people jumped on it and someone suggested asking /jp/ to help out. The idea was a meta song about Anon wanting to make this year the perfect musical by pitching all his worst ideas and getting bitchy when people call him a faggot for having awful ideas for songs. Sadly drama shit took hold and the entire event, not just this one, kinda suffered. I really just want to hammer this thing out for the timing alone since this is the 9th musical.
