Hey, I thought I'd pass by this thread and post the real winner of SSiB.

Definately Yuyuko, both character and theme. I didn't really like Suwa Foughten Field until I saw EWI 14, which was made of win. I didn't care much for Nuclear Fusion at first but the "atomic mix" made it grow on me.

Yuyuko was the opposite case, however. When I was new to Touhou and played PCB for the first time, I expected her to be maybe a stage 2 or 3 character due to her portray in doujins, and unimpressive status of "ghost" which seems underwhelming for a final boss. I was surprised and disappointed to see her at the end.

Then the warm music kicked in. Then the epic fan. By the end I was more than convinced she was a worthy final boss; she had become my favorite.

I like 3rd eye, but since you can read my mind, you should know that I like your old theme (Border of Life) even better!

I merged my fate with Border of Life the first time I listened to it.
When I listen to it, I think about the challenges in my future, and also my existence in this world. This is where music shows its power.
