She wasn't doing Auaus from the start. Even before the upgrade.

I really feel like her plot was rewritten at some point. Even if she wasn't meant to be some Eua puppet, it's clear the dialogue goes from explicitly separating her from the original Hanyuu in Gou and even early Sotsu to completely ignoring any differences between them in Kagurashi.

Note also that in the Gou manga she also had no auaus in her first appearance, but in her final one, which came out alongside Kagurashi, she did say "auaus". That could be another consequence of them dropping whatever they were attempting to do with differentiating her from the original.
